Each year, ministries and agencies release plans with the budget and report on the results achieved at the end of the year. This accountability mechanism ensures that ministries and agencies meet government's expectation for thorough and accurate reporting on commitments, which increases transparency and accountability to the people of Saskatchewan. Ministries and agencies must table their annual reports in the Legislature and publicly release these reports within 120 days of the close of the fiscal year, as required by The Executive Government Administration Act.
