The Saskatchewan Environmental Quality Guidelines (SEQG) has been created to provide easy access to current scientific data that is essential for responsible environmental management.
The SEQG is a searchable database of chemical concentrations that can be used by industry, consultants, businesses, organizations, regulators and the public as provincial benchmarks or indicators of environmental quality. The database allows users to search for more than 250 different kinds of chemicals, filter results by land use type (agricultural, commercial, industrial and residential) and select the type (i.e., groundwater, soil and more.);
These values provide provincial benchmarks or indicators of environmental quality that have become legally binding when referenced in Saskatchewan legislation, permits or code.
