Released on April 10, 2026

Today, Labour Relations and Workplace Safety Minister Ken Cheveldayoff announced the re-establishment of a committee to provide advice on labour relations, employment standards and workplace safety.

"This committee will bring together a broad range of stakeholders from business, organized labour and other organizations to have conversations on current and emerging issues in labour relations, employment standards and workplace safety," Cheveldayoff said.

Stakeholders from business and labour will be invited to recommend individuals from their organizations to sit on the advisory committee. All members will be appointed by the minister.

"I look forward to working with the members to ensure our employment legislation supports balance, fairness and builds a culture of health and safety that helps protect Saskatchewan workers and grow the economy."
