Work Schedules and Breaks
Employers must provide schedules at least one week in advance. Schedules should state when work will begin and end, and when breaks will begin and end. Employers should be aware overtime hours may apply.
Modified Work Arrangements
Employers and employees can agree to average the hours of work for up to a four-week period. Modified Work Arrangements expire after two years.
Permits
Employers must apply to the Director of Employment Standards for permission to deviate from the rules, or obtain the written agreement of the trade union representing the affected employees in Saskatchewan.
