Work Schedules and Breaks
Employers must provide schedules at least one week in advance and be for at least one week long. Schedules should state when work will begin and end, when breaks will begin and end, and how the day will be defined. Employers should be aware overtime hours may apply.
Modified Work Arrangements
Employers and employees can agree to average the hours of work for up to a four-week period.
Permits
Employers must apply to the director of Employment Standards for permission to deviate from the rules, unless they are allowed to obtain the written agreement of the trade union representing the affected employees in Saskatchewan.
