Teachers’ Collective Agreement Signed Today

Released on October 3, 2018

Teachers and the Government Trustee Bargaining Committee today signed a new collective agreement.

On September 7, 2018, an arbitration board handed down a decision, outlining a new collective agreement for teachers in the province's schools.

The agreement, signed today in Regina, is based on language outlined in that arbitration ruling.  The agreement covers the period from September 1, 2017, to August 31, 2019.

The parties would like to thank the members of the arbitration board for their work.

The full agreement will be available at https://www.stf.sk.ca/teaching-saskatchewan/collective-bargaining and https://www.stf.sk.ca/sites/default/files/provincial_agreement_2017-2019.pdf.

The arbitrator’s report is also available at http://publications.gov.sk.ca/documents/11/108888-Arbitration%20Board%20Report%20-%20September%202018.pdf.
