Public Health Monitoring and Surveillance

The Ministry of Health works with the Saskatchewan Health Authority and other agencies to monitor disease outbreaks, public health risk factors and reported levels of illness, injury and disease in the Saskatchewan population.

3. Covered Population Report

This annual report is a count of all persons who held Saskatchewan health coverage.

All residents of Saskatchewan are included in the Covered Population Report except residents covered by the federal government (members of the Canadian Forces and inmates of federal prisons) and people not yet meeting the residency requirement.
