Composting animal mortalities
The management of animal mortalities is an important consideration for livestock producers.

Livestock disposal in the event of an emergency
Events such as fire, building collapse, suffocation or the outbreak of a major disease will result in a large number of animal deaths. Producers are encouraged to develop a plan to dispose of significant numbers of animal carcasses in the event of a catastrophic loss.
