Rachel connects her clients with agriculture programming, resources, and services that will help their operations grow, innovate, and prosper. She is passionate about promoting best management practices that build public trust in the industry, as well as working with youth on agriculture awareness initiatives. Rachel has been with the ministry for 20 years in the roles of extension agrologist, provincial agri-business development specialist, farm business management specialists and, most recently, the agriculture programs specialist. She graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a bachelor of science in agriculture.

Charlotte Ward, PAg, Agri-Environmental Specialist

Charlotte Ward
Charlotte is passionate about helping producers improve long term sustainability on their operations. As an agri-environmental specialist, Charlotte works with farmers and ranchers to implement environmental best management practices, such as converting marginal land to perennial forage and cross-fencing to better manage riparian areas. Charlotte has over 15 years of experience in agri-environmental programming and rangeland and forage management. She has both a bachelor of science and a master of science in agriculture from the University of Saskatchewan, focused on rangelands resources, perennial forage production and grazing management.

Alexis DeCorby, AAg, Livestock and Feed Extension Specialist

Alexis is passionate about livestock management. As a livestock and feed extension specialist, Alexis is a source of information for producers and the agriculture industry on water quality, animal management and feeding information for livestock. Alexis has a bachelor of science in agriculture from the University of Saskatchewan, focused on animal science.

Corissa Wilcox, AAg, Agri-Environmental Specialist

Corissa Wilcox
As an agri-environmental specialist, Corissa works with farmers and ranchers to support them in providing sustainable food products. Corissa also works with farmers and ranchers to implement environmental best management practices, such as cross-fencing to improve land use in riparian/native areas, extensive winter feeding to reduce crop inputs and converting marginal land to perennial forage. Her experience includes beef cattle management, forage research and extension. She has a bachelor of science in agriculture and master’s degree in animal science from the University of Saskatchewan with a focus on beef cattle nutrition and production.

Rebecca Hort, AAg, Intern Extension Agrologist

Rebecca is passionate about crop production and agronomy. Through her internship role, she is excited to gain knowledge of extension work and pest surveys. Rebecca has years of experience on her family grain farm and of crop research through field trials. She obtained her bachelor of science in agriculture from the University of Saskatchewan, majoring in agronomy and minoring in soil science.

Ogonnaya Oji Maleschuk, Regional Service Representative

Ogonnaya Maleschuk
Ogo provides administrative support and excellent client service to agricultural producers. She moved to Canada in 2010 from Nigeria for studies and to Saskatchewan in 2012 immediately after graduation. She joined Saskatchewan Public Service in 2014 and has worked with various ministry in accounting and administration roles. She has a degree in accounting from University of Nigeria and a postgraduate diploma in international business management from Mohawk College, Hamilton, Ontario.
