Enforcing the decision is not the responsibility of the ORT. Once the time for appeal is past and the decision is final, you can register the decision as a judgment of the Court of Queen’s Bench. Any enforcement steps must be taken through the Court of Queen's Bench.
If a landlord or tenant does not pay a monetary order, the other party may request the ORT place the landlord or tenant on the non-compliance list until the order is paid in full. The ORT may refuse to issue hearing notices and orders for a landlord or tenant for the time they are on the non-compliance list.
