The Saskatchewan Ministry of Advanced Education, in partnership with Saskatchewan post-secondary institutions and the Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission, is conducting a survey of people who were registered at a post-secondary institution in 2015-16, but may not have returned to the institution in the 2016-17 academic year and did not complete their program/credential. The purpose of the survey is to gather information about why students leave an institution before obtaining a credential.
The survey will focus on student characteristics, perceptions, reasons for not completing and post-departure outcomes. This is the first survey of this kind done province-wide.
The Ministry contracted Prairie Research Associates (PRA) Inc., an independent research firm, to undertake the survey. This survey was developed in accordance with Saskatchewan privacy legislation.
This study will be conducted online and by telephone between December 14, 2018 to March 9, 2019.
Survey participants have already been selected and invited to complete this survey though an email or mail notification. Please only complete this survey if you have received a notice from PRA Inc.
