Saskatchewan residents could be jetting their loved ones back home for the province's official birthday celebrations that are now just 100 days away, or for any of the hundreds of events that are planned during the centennial year. Saskatchewan Centennial 2005 and WestJet are partnering on a new promotion, "Home is Where the Heart is"."Saskatchewan residents are ready to roll the welcome mat out for friends and family to join in our celebrations," Saskatchewan Centennial 2005 Chair and Moose Jaw North MLA Glenn Hagel said. "The centennial spirit is already flying high in our province and this WestJet promotion will see it really soar."
Through the "Home is Where the Heart is" contest, WestJet is offering eight exciting prize packages. Each prize package allows a Saskatchewan resident to fly two people to Saskatchewan for free (excluding third-party taxes and fees) during 2005, from any city in Canada or the United States that is served by WestJet. Entry forms are being distributed to households across the province beginning next week, along with 1.5 million postcards that people can use to invite people home for the centennial. Entries and postcards are also available online at www.sask2005.ca/contest.
