Premier Lorne Calvert announced the names of four recipients of the Saskatchewan Distinguished Service Award today.

The Distinguished Service Award recognizes non-residents of the province who have made outstanding contributions to Saskatchewan and the development of the provincial economy and society.

• J. Wilton Littlechild, Vice President of the Indigenous Parliament of the Americas, Alberta

"I am pleased that knowledgeable experts from outside Saskatchewan share our enthusiasm for the great strides we are making in this province," Calvert said. "Throughout their many diverse fields, each of the recipients of the Saskatchewan Distinguished Service Award has helped bring positive attention to Saskatchewan," Provincial Secretary Joan Beatty said.
