The Municipal Government Sustainability Self-Assessment (MGSSA) Tool is an easy-to-use interactive tool allowing your municipality to evaluate the sustainability of its operations by answering questions related to key areas. Based on your responses, the tool will provide your municipality with a score related to each area.
By examining the self-assessment scores, your municipality will be able to determine things that are going well and areas where there are opportunities for improvement. Refer to the fact sheets below to locate online resources that could help you to improve in a particular area.
