The Office of the Registrar (Registrar) was established in fall 2021 to support the first level of property assessment appeals in Saskatchewan. The Registrar is responsible for:
- Certifying all boards of revision;
- Providing oversight of the required board of revision training program; and
- Increasing public understanding of the assessment appeal process.
With mandatory certification and training, boards of revision will be better positioned to hear and decide on assessment appeals.
