Paying Vacation at the End of Employment

Vacation pay is calculated on an employee’s “wages” for each year. Vacation pay does not have to be paid on the amount of pay instead of notice.

However, employees are entitled to vacation entitlements during working notice.

Employers can't require employees to take vacation or pay vacation pay during notice periods.
