Retail sales in Saskatchewan increased by 1.2 per cent in December 2016 (seasonally adjusted), compared to November of the same year—the highest percentage change among the provinces.According to numbers released today by Statistics Canada, sales were more than $1.58 billion in December.

Year-over-year, Saskatchewan’s retail sales were up by 3.5 per cent (seasonally adjusted)—the sixth highest growth among the provinces.
