Land Lease Survey Underway

By Rob Brodner, Lands Branch, Saskatchewan Ministry of Agriculture

October 7, 2016

The Saskatchewan Ministry of Agriculture is conducting our bi-annual land lease survey in October. Insightrix Research Inc. has been contracted to conduct the 2016 survey on behalf of the Ministry. In addition to calling private land owners and lessees, new this year is the option to answer the survey online. Your participation in the survey on private land rental rates helps develop benchmarks on what current land rent rates are, as well as identify trends.

The Ministry invites you to complete the survey at your convenience.  The survey takes 10 minutes and should be completed by the person in your household who is best suited to answer questions about renting farmland.  All responses are anonymous.

The results of the survey will be published on our website in the new year.
