Every five years, the Saskatchewan Ministry of Advanced Education (the Ministry) conducts a Graduate Outcomes Study (study) of the province’s post-secondary graduates two years after they have completed their studies. The purpose of the survey is to gather information about Saskatchewan graduates’ perceptions and experiences. Information is collected on graduates’ level of satisfaction with their education, sources of financing for their education, level of education-related debt, and pre-and post-graduate mobility, as well as their education and employment outcomes.
The Ministry contracted Insightrix Research Inc., an independent research firm, to undertake the survey. This survey was developed in accordance with Saskatchewan privacy legislation.
The latest study was conducted between September 20, 2016 and February 15, 2017 and followed up with graduates from the class of 2014. This is the third iteration of the study conducted in partnership with Saskatchewan post-secondary institutions and the Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trades Certification Commission.
