Translations are made available to increase access to Government of Saskatchewan content for populations whose first language is not English.

The results of software-based translation do not approach the fluency of a native speaker or possess the skill of a professional translator. The translation should not be considered exact, and may include incorrect or offensive language Government of Saskatchewan does not warrant the accuracy, reliability or timeliness of any information translated by this system. Some files or items cannot be translated, including graphs, photos, and other file formats such as portable document formats (PDFs).

Deaf, deaf and hard of hearing preschool

The Ministry of Education is seeking input from parents and families of children who are Deaf, deaf and hard of hearing for the development of a preschool program. 

The funding for this new preschool program is provided by the Government of Canada through the Canada-Saskatchewan Early Learning and Child Care Agreement.  Through that agreement, Saskatchewan is committed to creating early learning opportunities for children requiring intensive supports, including those who are Deaf, deaf and hard of hearing. 

We want to hear from you to inform the development of the preschool program regarding family input about options related to communication, staff requirements, family engagement, transitions, scheduling and early learning programming.
