The Ministry of Health is seeking your input on proposed changes to The Plumbing Regulations.
The Plumbing Regulations ensure plumbing systems are designed/built to modern standards and protect health and the environment. The regulations contain provisions for issuing permits, inspection and other matters relating to plumbing installation.
The proposed amendments include, but are not limited to:
- Increasing the base plumbing permit fee from $40 to $100 to partially offset inspection program costs; and
- Adoption of The National Plumbing Code of Canada, 2015, with Saskatchewan amendments.
