Government of Saskatchewan Senior Leadership Changes

Released on March 1, 2018

Interim Deputy Minister to the Premier and Cabinet Secretary, Kent Campbell today announced changes to the senior leadership of the Saskatchewan Public Service.  These changes are effective immediately.

Laurie Pushor is appointed Deputy Minister of the new Ministry of Energy and Resources.  He was previously Deputy Minister of the Ministry of the Economy.

Alastair MacFadden is appointed Deputy Minister of the new Ministry of Immigration and Career Training.  He was previously Assistant Deputy Minister of Immigration and Labour Services.

Jodi Banks is appointed Interim Deputy Minister of the new Ministry of Trade and Export Development.  She was previously Interim Associate Deputy Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs.

“I would like to congratulate Laurie and Alastair on their new assignments and thank Jodi for accepting the role of interim deputy minister,” Campbell said.
