Male Inmate Fails to Return to Prince Albert Correctional Centre

Released on January 8, 2018

On January 6, 2018, Jonathon Wade BENSON (DOB: November 17, 1986) failed to return to the Prince Albert Correctional Centre (PACC) and was deemed to be in violation of his temporary absence.

BENSON had been on temporary absence from PACC since January 5, 2018, and was scheduled to return to custody on January 6, 2018 at 6 p.m.

BENSON’s description is as follows:
Height: 6’1” = 185 cm
Weight: 161 lbs = 73 kg
Eye Colour: Brown
Hair Colour: Black
Tattoos: Cross tattoo on right arm
Scars: Three cigarette burns on left hand

BENSON was serving 182 days (six months) for one charge of common assault and one charge of breach of probation.  Pierceland detachment of the RCMP has been notified.  BENSON is not considered a threat to public safety.
