Saskatoon Meewasin Byelection Called for March 2

Premier Brad Wall today announced that a byelection will be held on Thursday, March 2 in Saskatoon Meewasin.  The seat has been vacant since the death of MLA Roger Parent in November.

Wall said he wanted to ensure Saskatoon Meewasin residents are represented in the Legislative Assembly when it resumes sitting on March 6.

“I expect a close race and a hard-fought campaign by all the parties and candidates,” Wall said.
