Fourth Quarter Loss Report Tabled by Ministry of Education

Released on October 3, 2016

The Ministry of Education has tabled four confirmed losses reported by school divisions with the Standing Committee on Public Accounts.  The report also includes five losses from previous quarters that were not included within those reports.  As this loss reporting process is still new for school divisions, a clarification of the reporting rules allowed for a number of retroactive reports.
 
This report covers the fourth quarter of the 2015-16 school division fiscal year (June 1 – August 31, 2016).
