The leaves may be starting to change colour and the winds may be a little cooler, but new projects continue to spring up on Saskatchewan highways.
“We are still seeing new projects starting each week, and crews will continue to work until the weather dictates otherwise,” Highways and Infrastructure Minister Don McMorris said. “The recent warm, dry weather has been ideal for construction and we’re hopeful that there are many more good weeks ahead.”
New work underway this week includes a complete $13.8 million rebuild of Highway 22 between Southey and Earl Grey, as well as a culvert repair on Highway 6 south of Corinne.
