NEW DEPUTY MINISTER FOR MINISTRY OF HIGHWAYS AND INFRASTRUCTURE

Deputy Minister to the Premier Doug Moen has announced an appointment to the senior leadership of the Saskatchewan Public Service.

Nithi Govindasamy has been appointed Deputy Minister of Highways and Infrastructure effective September 16, 2013.  Nithi has held numerous senior leadership roles within the Government of Alberta and the Government of Saskatchewan, most recently as the Associate Deputy Minister of Policy and Programs with Saskatchewan’s Ministry of Agriculture.
 
“I want to thank Nithi for accepting this challenging and important assignment,” Moen said.  “Nithi will be critical in leading the ministry executive team to ensure the province continues to foster a strong highway and infrastructure system.”

In addition, Jennifer Ehrmantraut has been named Associate Deputy Minister.  Jennifer was previously an Assistant Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure.
