Drivers on Highway 4 in southwestern Saskatchewan should be on the lookout for a pair of million-dollar bridge replacements in the coming week.
“These bridges are just two among nearly 20 that we plan to replace during this construction season,” Highways and Infrastructure Minister Don McMorris said. “Bridge work is essential to ensuring traffic flows smoothly and safely over Saskatchewan’s many waterways.”
The new bridges will carry Highway 4 traffic over Denniel Creek north of Val Marie and over Old Wives Creek south of Cadillac.
Other new work underway this week includes repairs on the Lewvan overpass over Highway 1 in Regina and bridge repairs on Highway 17 over Battle River near the Alberta Border.
The weekly construction update provides Saskatchewan residents with the latest details on projects underway to help to plan safe and efficient travel throughout the summer and fall.
