HIGHWAY 15 RECEIVES $1.1 MILLION WORTH OF IMPROVEMENTS

The Weekly Highway Construction Update

Work is set to begin this week on improvements to Highway 15 near Melville. The $1.1 million project includes widening and paving on some sections between Melville and Fenwood. This is one of four new projects added to this week's highway construction update.

"A near record $581.5 million investment will result in about 1,200 km of highway improvements this year," Highways and Infrastructure Minister Don McMorris said. "By improving the transportation network, we're helping secure opportunities for growth in Saskatchewan."

Several other highway construction projects are scheduled to get underway this week including crack sealing and depression repairs on Highway 2 south of La Ronge, patching on Highway 11 near Hanley and micro surfacing on Highway 14 near Biggar.
