Drivers are reminded to stay alert and watch for potential construction in various stages, as work continues this fall on Saskatchewan's highway system.
"Have a great Thanksgiving weekend, but please be sure to slow to 60 km/h when passing highway workers and equipment and be cautious and alert when approaching any highway activity," Highways and Infrastructure Minister Jim Reiter said.
New construction activity highlighted for this update period includes such activities expected to be underway as work on Highway 1 (Ring Road) in Regina, Highway 1 west of Regina starting near the access to Grand Coulee, the junction of Highways 1 and 48 at White City, Highway 29 southwest of the Battlefords, along with Highway 47 north of Grenfell.
