Motorists are advised to be aware of potential and ongoing provincial highway work in various stages while travelling throughout Saskatchewan.
"Whether its repairs related to heavy moisture and flooding, work to maintain existing highways or new capital construction, all motorists should please be cautious and alert when approaching any road activity," Highways and Infrastructure Minister Jim Reiter said. "Also, please remember to obey all flag persons, electronic message boards relating to road work or potential detours and slow to 60 km/hr when passing highway workers and equipment in the Orange Zone."
New road activity highlighted for this week includes work on Highway 9 near Yorkton, Highway 11 between Dundurn and Saskatoon, along with Highway 16 near Maymont and near Borden.
