Motorists are advised to be aware of upcoming and ongoing provincial highway construction projects while travelling throughout Saskatchewan.
"Drivers should always be cautious and alert when approaching any highway construction, obey all flag persons and slow to 60 km/hr when passing highways workers and equipment," Highways and Infrastructure Minister Jim Reiter said. "Motorists can also use the Highway Hotline for other important travel information."
New activity expected to be underway for this update period includes repaving on Highway 1 eastbound near Sidewood, construction on Highway 6 near Gronlid, seal coating on Highway 6 near Melfort, along with micro surfacing on Highway 9 near Canora.
