Motorists are advised to be aware of ongoing and upcoming provincial highway construction projects during their Saskatchewan travels.
"Watch for construction activity ahead and be alert when approaching it," Highways and Infrastructure Minister Jim Reiter said. "Remember to obey all flag persons and slow to 60 km/hr when passing highway workers and equipment."
New activity expected to be underway for this update period includes three bridge replacements on Highway 1 eastbound near Chaplin; bridge work on Highway 2 over the Qu'Appelle River; a bridge replacement on Highway 13 over Lodge Creek; a bridge replacement on Highway 167 about 8 km south of Creighton; grading followed by paving on Highway 219; along with work on various sections of Highway 304 near Makwa.
