Highways and Infrastructure Minister Wayne Elhard reminds motorists to drive safely this weekend and be aware of new and ongoing projects when travelling.
"Take this highway construction activity into account to plan the best and safest route," Elhard said. "Slow to 60 km/h when passing highway workers and equipment, be alert and be prepared to stop as directed."

Highway 5
- Resurfacing is expected to be taking place on Highway 5 from Humboldt heading east for about 6 km. Traffic may be reduced to one lane.
Highway 16
- Micro-surfacing is underway on Highway 16 from about 12 km east of the junction of Highway 16 and Highway 8 to about 1 km west of the junction at Langenburg. Traffic will be reduced to one lane through the construction area.
Highway 35
- Surfacing is taking place from the junction of Highway 35 and Highway 3 at Tisdale to about 20 km south of the junction. Traffic may be reduced to one lane through the construction area.
Highway 106
- Surfacing is taking place from 50 km east of the junction of Highway 106 and Highway 165 to 59 km east of the junction. Traffic may be reduced to one lane through the construction area.
