Codes of Practice for the Care and Handling of Farm Animals

The Codes of Practice are national guidelines for the care and handling of farm animals.

Saskatchewan, like some other provinces, references the Codes in their provincial animal welfare legislation.

A Code of Practice for the Care and Handling of Horses on PMU Ranches has also been developed by the North American Equine Ranching Information Council.
