Agri-Environmental Group Plans

Education and Awareness for Environmental Effects in Larger Agriculture Regions

Agri-Environmental Group Plans (AEGP) provides education and awareness to deal with environmental issues where action by all producers in an area can have a measurable impact. There are fourteen group plans in Saskatchewan.

AEGP technicians also provide producer level support for the Farm Stewardship Program and Farm and Water Ranch Infrastructure Program. Both programs can be used as resources to support sustainable management and development of resources. 

Producers who do not have an individual Environmental Farm Plan (EFP) can apply through AEGP for Farm Stewardship Program funding to support Beneficial Management Practices (BMP).
