Stripe Rust

Stripe rust has been reported in east-central Saskatchewan in the Churchbridge and Langenburg areas. Stripe rust symptoms have primarily been seen on the flag leaf. Make sure that you scout your crops!

If stripe rust symptoms are found, watch the progression of the disease within the canopy. Determine the variety’s stripe rust resistance rating as part of your fungicide decision-making process.
